October 31, 2011 | Germany's Max Planck Institute has opened a new research facility in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The branch will focus mainly on neurosciences, drug desing, cellular plasticity and stem cell research. The facility was opened in conjunction with the National Research Council of Argentina (CONICET), the Biomedicine Research Institute of Buenos Aires (IBioBA–MPSP). Nature News
